Once you've made a claim, you can check its progress online by logging in to MyBoxyMo. It's quick. It's easy. And you can see the current status of your claim, without having to call.

If the insured vehicle is out of use as a result of a claim for loss or damage insured under this policy we will provide you with a courtesy car whilst the repairs are taking place but only if they are done by one of our approved repairers.

Your insurance will NOT automatically switch to the temporary vehicle, you will need to contact our office to transfer your insurance to the temporary replacement car supplied by the approved repairer while you hire it, depending on the conditions and exceptions of this policy. Under this endorsement we will not pay more than €200 for any one event. This will not apply where the only damage is broken glass in the windscreen or windows of the insured vehicle.

Accident or incident?

One advantage of BoxyMo is that it will alert us if your car has been involved in an accident.

If this happens and your car is stationary, we will try to call you on your mobile phone. We will check you are OK and try to help you get going again. If we can see that your car is moving we will assume you are unharmed and do not require immediate assistance.

If we are unable to contact you and after assessing all of the information we think it is appropriate, we will attempt to contact the emergency services and request that they attend. Please note we are not able to guarantee that the emergency services will attend in these circumstances, and you are still obliged to notify us of any incident. Any incident must be reported to us immediately. Do not delay in reporting any accident no matter how small it may appear at the time of occurrence.

All BoxyMo claims are initially handled by Contac Claims Ltd, 4 - 8 Kilcoole Park, Belfast BT14 8LB.

Car Stolen

If your car is stolen then you need to contact the Gardai, obtain a crime reference number and advise them that your car is fitted with a tracking device. Contact the theft helpline number on +44(0)333 2020002 quoting your policy number and the crime reference number. The theft helpline will then trace your vehicle and notify the Gardai. You should also notify the claims helpline that the vehicle has been stolen, on 1890 812 763.
