You can only select your preferred payment date when purchasing your first policy. Your payment will then be requested on that date every month, but may take up to three working days to be processed.

When you purchase a policy from BoxyMo and you choose to pay by direct debit you can choose your preferred payment date for payments to be withdrawn from your bank account. A payment schedule will be posted to you once the direct debit has been successfully setup. If you do not receive a copy of this schedule you will have to contact us.

  • Pay the full amount in one go by credit or debit card.
  • Split the payments over easy monthly instalments (subject to certain criteria).

If you choose to save money now and spread your payments over the year, an initial payment is required by credit or debit card to start the policy, followed by equal monthly instalments by direct debit. Doing this may cost a little extra, but it can be a lot more convenient.

You can arrange to pay by direct debit when you get a quote online. Choose this payment method, input your details on the secure website, and the money will be taken from your account on or around the same day each month. Easy.

Pay late and you could lose your policy.

If you don't pay on time, we don't cancel your policy immediately. We like to give you the opportunity to correct this.

Don't wait too long as failure to pay will ultimately result in cancellation of your policy and you could be liable for further costs.

Upon cancellation, you will need to declare that you will return all copies of the Certificate of Motor Insurance relating to your policy within ten days.

You can pay for your car insurance using someone else's credit or debit card. Result! You have to have permission from the card holder, and it has to be a card we accept.

You can make your payment online. It's secure, and it saves you time and money.

You can claim your refund - unless you've made a claim.

We will not issue a refund if there has been an at-fault claim on your policy. We will not issue a refund if your have used all of your policy miles. Refunds will be credited to the payment method you provided, and can take up to 14 days to be processed. If you are paying by direct debit, any refund will be deducted from the remaining balance due to the Finance provider as soon as reasonably possible. Once this payment has been made, any remaining balance will be refunded to you. Please refer to the Policy Document and Terms of Business for the full cancellation conditions. To complete a cancellation request, we will require your Certificate of Motor Insurance and your Disc returned to our office.
